Welcome to Prospect Private Nursing Home, Ballymena.

Prospect Private Nursing Home was established by the McMullan family in 1992 and is located on the outskirts of Ballymena town centre in County Antrim. The nursing home is a beautiful two-storey period style building situated on an elevated site and surrounded by mature landscaped gardens. The interior is designed and decorated to create the ambiance of a large family house, as opposed to the clinical feel of a nursing environment.

We provide a high standard of nursing care in a Christian environment. Residents are treated with respect and dignity as we aim to ensure that their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are met and maintained at all times.

We provide nursing care for 50 residents in both single and shared rooms, the majority of which offer en-suite facilities. Our philosophy is to provide quality nursing care by appropriately qualified Nurses who are ably assisted by trained Health Care Assistants. Nursing Care Plans are devised and maintained in order to meet our residents’ needs and take into account personal likes, dislikes and wishes.

Prospect Private Nursing Home prides itself on its "Home from Home" atmosphere. We believe that family involvement is extremely important and endeavour to work closely with family members to maintain the highest possible standard of care.
