Our nursing home is a 'home from home' and it is particularly important to us to create special moments each and every day, and memories that family members and friends who visit will hold on to for years to come. At Prospect Private Nursing Home, we make ordinary days a little bit more extraordinary!
Our Activities Therapist creates an engaging programme of events to suit the interests and capabilities of each resident. Simple interactive games and tasks generate much enjoyment for our residents, for whom the simplest things can bring the most happiness.
So what does a day of activities at our nursing home look like?

Whilst we aim to make every day exceptional, there are days in the lives of our residents that are always going to be extra special – like reaching a new birthday milestone. Days like these don't pass by unnoticed.
Elvina, a resident at our Nursing Home celebrated her 87th birthday. She is pictured here blowing out the candles on her cake as her daughter Diane looks on.
Some of the many other daily activities which residents partake in include:
Recreational games such as Ten Pin Bowling and Indoor Netball
One to One Time for reading, board games and reminiscing
Name that tune and sound games
Fun with Food – from baking to pizza making or rustling up a tasty fruit salad
One to One afternoon trips out
Jigsaws and other board games
Quiz and chat afternoons
As you can see, our residents' days are anything but ordinary!
